Although I haven’t written much in journals lately, a lot is happening on my DA page.

Unfortunately, a lot is happening despite a very very busy RL so I will keep this journal short.

For the first time in like six months I’ve updated the top ten.  Virtually the entire top ten has changed.  This is primarily because when you don’t update for six months and the top ten reflects only the top ten in the last twelve months, many of the top ten have grand-fathered out of the competition.  They all have moved into the DD Hall of Fame category.

The new top ten starting with number one are as follows:

Here are some thoughts on the top ten.  First, and most notable, this is the first time an SL snap has legitimately entered the top ten and there are two of them!!!  Wonder Woman’s Gift is not only in the top ten but vying for #1!!  I think this is a reflection of the power of the super heroine fanbase but all the fact that my SL snaps are really moving up in quality and are now challenging the best of the 3d renders.

Another interesting factode… Eight of the top ten are superheroines:  Three Supergirls (Kara); two Wonder Woman; and one each Black Cat and Cat Woman (Cats!!).  Only one original character in the top ten… thank goodness for Fantasy!!

So, some interesting trends in the top ten.  Why are the trends important?  They influence what subjects and medium I will use in the future and since I have limited time that’s important.
