Description

The Seventh part of what I think will be about a twenty part Blue Vixen series.

"The Blue Vixen" is an illustrated novella about the super heroine Blue Vixen. It will be uploaded here as each part is completed.

The Story starts here:  Previous: Next:

It only took a few minutes for Val to finish dressing. She kicked off her pumps and quickly pulled on a pair of gossamer thin silk stay up stockings followed by thin silk thong panties. She then dropped the perfectly fitted sequined dress over her head. For a minute she was a bit disconcerted by the ultra-short hemline and the low cut front and back, but the gushing praise of Agent Fortune about how amazing the dress looked quickly overcame her discomfort. Fortune helped her quickly don the rest of her jewelry, and then, grabbing a small matching clutch and amid the smiles and waving good-byes of the spa staff, she and her blonde companion made their way out the front door of the spa and to the curb.

As if on cue a long black limousine pulled up to the curb in front of the two women. The black suited heavy-set driver walked briskly around the vehicle and opened the door as he informed Fortune that "Mr. M will meet you ladies at the club."

"Thank you Mitchell,"smiled the undercover FBI agent as she slid into the luxurious interior of the massive vehicle.

Val followed Fortune into the vehicle and took a seat facing forward as the heavy door closed quietly behind her. Fortune sat across from her and was already pouring a glass of chilled champagne which she passed to Val. After she poured her own she toasted Val, "to a glorious evening Fran! I'm so glad you were able to make it down all the way from Albany for this!"

Val took the hint that the mission was now active and clinked her glass and smiled; her knowing look telling Fortune that the hint was taken.  "I just know its going to be a great evening Silvia," Val replied with equal enthusiasm. Quietly the big vehicle merged into the thick city traffic and quickly carried the two women back downtown.

A half hour later Fortune and Val entered the Overnight Club, possibly the most exclusive private dinner club in Manhattan. In many ways the club was a throwback to the 1950s and 60s when personal style was the essence of cool. The wait staff were dressed formally, the maître d' in a tuxedo, the lighting was mutated, and the furnishing all first class --hardwoods and leather. All of the guests were dressed up: coats and ties and even tuxedos for the men, and elegant and sexy designer dresses for the ladies. Val vaguely remembered a celebrity scandal the previous year when a pop diva was refused admittance for among other things, wearing jeans. Fortune gave their names to the maitre d' and a hostess in an exquisite knee length cocktail dress led them to a quiet table for four near the back of the club as a live band played soft jazz in the background.

As Val and Fortune approached the table Val took note of the two men who upon seeing them approach stood to await their arrival. It was not hard to distinguish Tony M. from Mario Constantine. Val had seen pictures of both men in the files she had been given by the FBI, but the pictures did not do either one justice. They both had an aura of power and charisma that affected everyone who came in contact with them. They were the same in many ways, but also very different. Tony M. was in his early forties and physically big. Over six foot tall with a football player's shoulders and chest. He looked like he would burst out of his perfectly tailored Armani suit. He had a thick mane of long jet black hair, a square face and a prominent Roman nose. However, what struck Val most were his eyes. Even as he smiled to greet her and Fortune, Tony's eyes never smiled or relaxed. They were like the eyes of a hawk, always moving, always alert, always searching for weakness and for prey. Val understood why Tony was considered by law enforcement to be a very dangerous man.

Mario Constantine exuded a similar power and confidence, but it came from a completely different source. Mario was tall, approximately six foot, but didn't appear so standing next to Tony. He looked to be in his sixties, with a full head of short snow white hair and a neat goatee. He was a handsome man and appeared very fit with a slim waist and a chest and shoulders that were still powerful at his age. The aura of Constantine however, was not one of physical strength, it was an aura of a powerful personality with an indomitable will. The set of his square jaw combined with an almost mischievous twinkle in his eyes conveyed at once strength and confidence, as well as just a touch of humility and humor. Constantine was a man who had accomplished much but understood that there were limits to his power and influence. Val was impressed.

Tony immediately stepped from the table to greet Fortune and Val as they approached. Fortune literally threw herself into Tony's arms and followed with a long deep powerful kiss. Val stood quietly observing Tony work his tongue deep into the FBI agent's accepting mouth while at the same time one of his large hands roughly groped her butt cheek through the very sheer material of her dress. Val blushed as she noticed Constantine watching her reaction.  When the two finally came up for air Tony turned his attention to Val.

Val watched the grin spread across Tony M.'s handsome face as his eyes devoured her. He made no effort to hide the fact that he was mentally undressing her. His eyes lingered intentionally on her breasts prominently displayed in the low-cut cocktail dress, then the hem of the skirt and what lay just underneath, and finally they travelled down the length of her long legs. He stepped away from Fortune and grasped Val's hand, "And this must be the lovely Fran who you have told me so much about Silvia. She is as hot as you said."

As he shook her hand in a strong grip that was almost painful, he leaned forward to kiss her cheek. Val instinctively turned her head slightly for him and was surprised to feel his lips brush past her cheek and then his tongue lick her ear. She felt his warm breath on her ear as he whispered "Silvia was right. You really are very hot piece of ass baby." Then he stepped back smiling as Val struggled hide her surprise at his intentionally crude brashness, and to keep her face composed.

Constantine saw Val blush but couldn't see Tony kiss her ear or hear what he said. Tony held on to her hand and walked her around the table to the Mario.  "Mario Constantine, may I present Francesca Cuchinella of Albany New York." On her guard and a little flustered after the flirting by Tony, Val was surprised by the genuine smile and slight bow she received from Constantine. He gently took her hand from Tony and then raised it to his lips and softly kissed the back of her fingers. "It is a pleasure to meet you Signorina."

"Mio piacere anche Signore," its my pleasure as well, replied a slightly surprised Val trying unsuccessfully to hide her smile. No one had ever kissed her hand.

Constantine lifted his eyes to hers, his hand still holding her fingers, "Parla meravigliosi italiana. E la sua ancora più bello quando gli si parla di come una bella signora giovane." You speak wonderful Italian. And its even more beautiful when spoken by such a lovely young lady.

"Prego, si accomodi Signorina Francesca," please have a seat Miss Francesca. Val blushed as she took the chair that Constantine offered next to his. She didn't notice Fortune wink at Tony M. as the two also sat down.

For the next five hours Val had one of the most delightful evenings of her life. Mario told her stories of his many adventures in Italy and within the global business world. She tried to not be overawed as the wealthy former Mafioso casually dropped names like Trump and Gates in his many humorous anecdotes about the quirkiness of life among the world’s richest elites. She was also very surprised that he was genuinely interested in her. He wanted to know all about her family, her education, why she was in police work, and he was particularly interested in that she had been in the Army and overseas twice to fight in Iraq. Val found it easy to adjust her real life story to the cover story that the FBI had created for her. Still, she kept her comments about herself mostly very general and vague and directed the conversation back to Constantine. More than once she was grateful that the FBI's cover story was so close to her real situation that she didn't have to make too much up. It made her feel like she wasn't really lying to Mario, who she was beginning to genuinely like.

Fortune was seemingly as entranced by Mario as Val. She almost completely ignored Tony and was coaxed into telling several stories about Silvia's fictitious childhood and her business in New York. Tony for his part was content to allow Mario dominate the table. Val suspected that he could not compete with the stories of Constantine without revealing his very dark criminal history. She also surmised that Tony was not in Mario's league when it came to wit, humor, and most especially intelligence. Tony was smart enough, however, not to make that obvious by trying to compete with the old Italian gentleman. She concluded that Tony's deference was an indicator of Constantine's stature. Tony seemed content to make this evening about Constantine and that was fine with Val.

As the evening passed midnight Val relaxed in her chair. The night had been a whirlwind of wine, dinner, dancing and of course conversation. But she was getting tired and it was obvious that the evening was about to end. Plus, she was very aware that though her role in the night was about over, Fortune still had to return to Tony's home and accomplish her mission. After a final toast of wine to new friends and a wonderful evening in New York, the two couples stood and walked through the still very full club toward the exit. Val smiled when Mario offered her his arm and she clutched it happily. He impressed her as a wonderful man, and his talk about his charities and the need to help the less fortunate struck her as passionate and sincere. Under other circumstances she thought he would be a great person to be counted as a friend and she resolved that she would make a donation from her modest paycheck to one of his many philanthropic organizations.

At the curb she was reminded that both Mario and Tony were men of means. Assistants for both men met the group at the door and quick instructions over micro radios made limousines for both men appear almost instantly. Val's experienced eye picked up security positioned all around the entrance. Mario made his good byes to the group and told Fortune he would be honored to entertain her if she ever visited Italy.

Turning to Val, the old man once again grasped her fingers and brought them to his lips. "Grazie per una serata meravigliosa mia bella principessa Francesca." Thank you for a wonderful evening my beautiful princess Francesca.

Val blushed and smiled, "Grazie zio Mario. La serata è stata un fantastico fantasy" Thank you uncle Mario. The evening was a fantastic fantasy. She only realized that she had referred to Constantine as uncle after she said it, but it seemed to fit him well.

Constantine smiled at the title. "And you must promise to visit me in Italy as well, Francesca."

"I promise I will Uncle," Val replied laughing.

Constantine then shook hands with Tony and smiled at the group one last time as he let his assitant usher him to his car. As he got in he caught Val's eye and winked.

As Constantine's car pulled off Fortune pointed to the other limo and said to Val, "Get in Fran, we'll give you a ride to the subway and you can make your way home from there."

Val smiled her thanks and followed Fortune into the back of the limousine followed by the big form of Tony.

The three relaxed into the deep plush seats as the car smoothly pulled away from the curb. Val was mentally thinking through the subway routes home when Fortune passed her a full flute of Champaign.

"To an incredibly successful evening," the pretty FBI agent's toast was joined by Tony and Val. The three downed the expensive Champaign as Fortune refilled the glasses.

Suddenly Val felt incredibly tired. She leaned back into her seat and didn't notice as she almost spilled her Champaign. She sighed softly as her head fell back into the head rest. She didn't think she drank that much wine.  She looked up into the soft dome light of the limo and found it very difficult to think as her eyes slowly lost their focus. Though her eyes were open she didn't notice as Fortune removed the glass from her limp grip. Her mind was blank and open.

Tony smiled at Fortune."I told you it worked very fast."
