Hawt Haunting

She vaguely remembers a time when she could walk in the sunlight and feel its warm against her skin. A time when her skin was golden brown and she loved feeling the wind against it. But that was long ago. Ten years. Twenty. She no longer kept track. Ever since that night. The night she was warned to stay at home. To stay safe by the fire. To be safe in the light. But she couldn’t resist. There was a tension in the air that night and she had to be part of it. It drew her to the cemetery. She was to meet others there but when she got there she was alone. The others had been delayed or perhaps they heeded their instincts. Thus, she was easily taken. Overcome by the restless spirits of the undead trapped in the mortal plain and needing strength to pass on to the other world. They got that power from her. They devoured her young sensual essence. Temporarily they gave her a pleasure she had never known. A pleasure that no mortal could know. But then they left her behind. Now she is stranded between worlds and left with a yearning hunger. A hunger for the untold passion she experienced that night so long ago. A burning hunger for the wanton pleasure that she knew only once. Now, each hallow’s eve she is able to walk the grounds of that same cemetery. Searching for the unwary. Searching for the ignorant. Searching for the ones that were like her, curious. And if she finds them, she will show them inhuman pleasure. And if she finds them, she will steal their power and finally escape to find peace in the other world. And leave them behind. In her place.

The first of what I hope will be several Halloween themed renders. Hope the story wasn't too corny!
