Well I have finally, after almost exactly one year, finished and published the novella "Vice"!    I truly never intended it to be this long (over 40,000 words), have as many renders (twenty-five) or take this long to complete!  My original concept was about 12 renders with about a thousand words each to support the pictures.   I really just wanted to see if I could build a story similar to what my girlfriend Etherea does so well with her pictures.  What I found out is that I can't.  Etherea has a natural wit and humor that I can't match.  I also can't be as brief or succinct as her and therefore it took me a lot more space to convey my little story.

Anyway, over the months I have personally gotten very attached to my main character, Mickey Ramirez, and to a lesser extent her new partner, Julia Greene.  So there is no way I can just leave them cold turkey.  My plan is to do an occasional one or two page stories with renders of the continuing adventures of Agent Mickey Ramirez of the CIA's Dagger Team.  Or maybe also of Mickey and Julia enjoying their life together   So, for the Mickey fans out there, the story is done but she is not!

The next story is in my note book in outline form.  Etherea gave me a back story to start with and I am fleshing it out into a narrative.  As was requested in my polling, it will be a super heroine story based on an OC heroine of my own.  It will be very different  than Vice, and hopefully it will incorporate all that I learned about writing and rendering over the last year.  My goal is for it to be a bit better than my last effort.  I will be looking forward to your comments and impressions of it in the coming weeks and months.

Lastly, I would like to once again thank everyone who commented or faved any of my work but especially "Vice."  I guess it is a bit narcissistic of me, but positive, interesting, and constructive feedback from visitors, friends, and watchers are a big motivator for me to continue to invest my time in these modest artistic efforts.  THANK YOU all so MUCH!!
