|Collection of the best renders I've done since opening my account. All top ten renders are included here as well as a few personal favorites.|
Some good friends from Second Life (SL) encouraged me to join DA and I love it |
In SL I love to explore new things and fantasies that time and circumstance have not allowed me to experience as much as I would like. So you will see postings here of SL friends and adventures. I also, since this is DA, will post some of my attempts at traditional art -- scans of what I have done in the past and recent efforts reflecting my new interests.
Finally, I hope to combine some of traditioanl art interests,SL, and new digital drawing technology and see what I can learn and share.
Most important, I want to have fun and share my interests with new friends
Feel free to contact me here or in SL and share your thoughts, impressions, and views.

Finally the pace of events has slowed down a bit and I have been able to devote some little time to my 3D and SL art efforts.
I had thought that I had reached the limit of my ability to “refine” SL images into cute pictures through post work in photo shop. I think I was mistaken. The last few weeks I have discovered a couple of new techniques and I think I have brought the pictures up another notch. So, instead of having reached the limit, I’ve gotten even more excited about doing artwork based on SL snap shots. I know not everyone likes this form of art, but I find it fun and relaxing and love the final results. More to come.
I have a lot of different projects going on in SL. One is to try to put together a virtual SL book. The first book will be a collection of my 3d renders. It will include the renders, a little back story and the caption that accompanied the render if appropriate. The second SL book project will be a catalog of SL images of my favorite friends and myself. The third will be the “Vice” story produced in an SL book format. If anyone has any ideas regarding marketing SL books in SL let me know. I’m pretty confident I can produce a nice product but I have no idea how to market it. The first book will be available in SL in about two weeks or sooner.
Also, I am working on a .pdf format consolidating the entire “Vice” story and graphics in one file. That will be available here on DA.
3D artwork continues apace. I am happy to have finished an update to my running novella “The Blue Vixen,” and will have the remainder of chapter six done soon. I hope to make lots of progress on that story this summer. I know the “Tracking” story seems to have stopped. It’s almost concluded but I have had big technical problems with the final two renders and am working on solutions. It will be finished but I can’t say when.
I’ve introduced my army pilot, aka. Captain Brenda Connelly to the “Valkyrie” series. She will make more appearances both as part of that series and just as one of my steady 3d models. Look for a short story series soon that combines Valkyrie and my favorite OC Agent Mickey Rameriz.
Well that’s a short update. I’m happy to be home after traveling for almost three weeks. Lots of catch-up RL work to do but I am making time to do a bit of art as well.
As always, thank you all for your comments, views, watches and faves! Every visit to my page motivates me to add more stuff and try to create the best art work I can. Thank you so much!
Take care and enjoy the great summer weather!
