Some good friends from Second Life (SL) encouraged me to join DA and I love it |
In SL I love to explore new things and fantasies that time and circumstance have not allowed me to experience as much as I would like. So you will see postings here of SL friends and adventures. I also, since this is DA, will post some of my attempts at traditional art -- scans of what I have done in the past and recent efforts reflecting my new interests.
Finally, I hope to combine some of traditioanl art interests,SL, and new digital drawing technology and see what I can learn and share.
Most important, I want to have fun and share my interests with new friends
Feel free to contact me here or in SL and share your thoughts, impressions, and views.

Literally. Fall is right around the corner and that promises to be a very busy time for me. As days get shorter I will be trying to cram more things into less hours. My two big passions, besides my art , are riding horses and running. The fall is prime season for both and so I am trying to get an hour on horseback every day as well as 3 miles worth of running. That still leaves me time for art, but it also leaves me pretty exhausted (on top of an 8 hour work day) by evening. I tell you this for two reasons. First, I have a lot of ambitious projects for this DA page and I will continue to pursue those as best I can. Hopefully you will not see too much change in my production despite my other hobbies. Second, I have tried to keep those other two hobbies out of the artwork I post here, but I am going to change that rule and you may see more athletic and horse themed renders showing up here.
Though I may work in some new stuff, my current plans and projects are mostly consistent with the work I have been posting here for the last few years. Pinups, both 3D and SL will continue to be my main focus. The only change there is that I hope to add more digital painting art similar to the recent Supergirl piece I posted. My goal will be one piece of digital painting per month. That should be doable.
I have finished off the “Tracking” series. That took way longer than I intended primarily because the last two renders caused me lots of technical difficulties. So, other than a possible epilogue, that series is complete and that now permits me to start something else. Right now the candidates are all comic book formatted projects. I am considering one or more of the following: A comic book format Deena and Aetherea adventure; comic book Valkyrie jet pilot adventure; and a new World War II based OC adventure. If you have a preference please let me know J I also plan in the next weeks to put out part 3 of 4 in the Agent X comic book series (parts 1 & 2 already published). I have some new ideas for doing comics book which I will be trying out so whatever I do will be fun and should look better than past efforts. But, be forewarned, comic books, because of the amount of art required, take weeks to produce a single issue.
With the “Tracking” story done I also hope to get back to posting new parts of the “Blue Vixen” story. The last chapter with her being hurt was a difficult but necessary chapter to write, but sapped much of my energy for the project. One more part six piece to write and then I’ll be back to the adventure. I can’t say for sure when it will kick start again but those of you who follow it now know its not forgotten.
So what else is coming? A new SL pinup series based on military women. More Huntress, Powergirl, Supergirl, and Wonder Woman 3D pinups. More “Wrangler” 3D series. More collaberative work with my BFF Etherea And at least one or two comic book format shorts (1 to 2 page comic book formats).
So lots going on. I think I have been pretty productive since coming back from my trip (thanks to all who wished me well… the East Coast was gorgeous –except the traffic! ) and hope to continue that productivity through the fall.
Thanks as always to all who comment, fave, and watch! You are all my inspiration for everything I do!
Love you all!!!
